A very long life if doesn’t cause disability, it will succumb and downfall us, a situation that may not be worse than death but depriving, steals our creativity and ability of participation in work, society and the world. It changes how people confront with us; they no longer remember us as a lively and active person, and the image of the last days of our life would be the image of an incapable, unproductive and even a wretched person.
Suicide, often described as cowardly or selfish action. But, in my opinion, those who choose to finish a life that has been completed in the old age with a dignified ending and avoid the painful, futile, humiliating period of encumbrance of others (close people and the medical system), and deliver freedom to their loved ones, they worth respect and admiration for their courage and self-sacrifice…
The above sentences can be in praised of euthanasia and the main purpose of the “Thunderbolt without Rain” screenplay. It can be said that, in recent years, medical ethics have been highly lead to whether keeping a patient without any symptoms of life, is prolonging his life or prolonging his death. Many examples of those who have been desirous of death in these years raise doubt about the parts of religious ethics and the customary ethics of societies.
Still, the above sentences could be the purpose of the “Thunderbolt without Rain” screenplay. But also there are a lot of things in this world that cannot be explained…
