A political prisoner who has just been released from prison becomes the passenger of a night-shift taxi driver, a single mother desperately struggling for her only daughter’s survival.
The passenger, with no hope for his own future, tries to encourage the driver to continue living.

The idea for the film came to me after the events of September 2022, during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement and the dire conditions faced by political prisoners. Some of them, after temporarily being released from prison, committed suicide due to the immense pressure of their incarceration.
Part of the film’s dialogue is adapted from the writings and messages left by them before their suicides.
