Niloufar Jahangiri is an emerging filmmaker and cinema student.
She has completed screenwriting and directing courses under the mentorship of renowned Iranian filmmakers Majid Barzegar and Shahram Mokri.
Her debut short film, Somewhere between Memories, marks her first directorial experience and reflects the influence of two significant contemporary events in Iran – the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement and the Israeli attack on Iran – exploring their impact on both personal and collective memory.
