Learning through the Play
By this group, we have found a creative atmosphere for providing various educational subjects for
children by analyzing a variety of games and different groups, family of games and combination
of toys with dramatic arts, as well as participation of children and parents (in the audience not the
actors). In each play, we use these templates to transfer the educational subjects to children, combining
or using one of these subjects:
- Dynamic Games and Sports
The plays and games which motive the children’s mobility and activity and is aimed at nurturing and
coordinating the children’s physical strength.
- The Didactic Group
The plays and games which acquaint the children with a particularly science and technology and is
aimed at promoting knowledge and scientific skills.
- The Intellectual Group
The plays and games which causes development in children›s intellectual faculties such as accuracy,
discipline, logic, imagination, intelligence and curiosity.
- Assistive Group
The particular plays and games for the children with physical disabilities like vision disability and
hearing disability,…
For each of the above groups, we choose the templates which would be the basis of the play, as
below:
A- Dolls
A play with a variety of human, animal or imaginative forms, which are designed as toys or other
entertaining tools which do not include a decorative aspect.
B- Artefacts Models
A play with a variety of toys which are used in life such as cars, planes, trains, home appliances and
tools.
C- Marble and Board
A play in which the marbles’ movements on a big board are anticipated by a specific instruction.
D- Structures
A play by a set of pieces which would be connected to each other with or without joints and create
different shapes.
E- Puzzle
A play by interconnected pieces which can form the main shape if they are put next to each other.
We have a variety of puzzles in the play, including classic puzzles, square puzzles, cube puzzles,
filamentous puzzles, butterfly puzzles and, …
F- Card Games
A play with a set of cards which are designed with a specific instruction and scoring happens by
playing with them.
G- Entertaining Books
A play with a collection of books which involves the child with learning. These include the featured
books or the books with the possibility of 90 ° and 180 ° rotation (pop-up).
