Nasser Zamiri
Born in 1977 in Iran, Nasser Zamiri (Film Director, Producer, Writer & Editor) began his artistic career in 1995 after completing a one-year filmmaking course at the Iranian Youth Cinema Society. He made his first short film in 1998.
His films have been screened at many prestigious national and international festivals and have won numerous awards. They have been presented at renowned festivals such as Montreal, Busan, DOK Leipzig, Huesca, São Paulo, Mumbai, Bilbao, Asiana, DocPoint Helsinki, Tokyo, Religion Today, Cork, and others.
He has also served on the jury of several national and international film festivals, including the 6th Chicago Southland International Film Festival (USA), the 7th Pentedattilo Film Festival (Italy), and a number of national festivals in Iran. He founded his own film company, Twins Art Cinema, in the United States, and the documentary “Hayat” is considered the company’s first production.
